Do you like our planet? Would you like to help it become a sustainable planet? Do not miss out on the activities we’ve prepared at Miramar shopping centre to celebrate Earth Hour. Gift candles, solar chargers raffle, a candle holder workshop for your children at Isla Miramar, a photocall and a blackout in our façade so we can all join this global movement against climate change.

On Saturday 24 March, Miramar has prepared a very special day so that we can all celebrate Earth Hour together. If you want to join us, drop by our green photocall and take a picture to remember this day and to enter our solar chargers raffle. To join the raffle and win a solar charger, you just have to post the picture to Instagram, tagging our profile (@miramar_cc) and using the hashtag #ConectoConElPlaneta.

Miramar will also join the global token gesture that takes place every year to celebrate Earth Hour. From 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm, we’ll switch off the lights in our façade. To enable participation to everyone, we’ll give out LED candles so you can light up the sky at that moment without using electricity. Also, the youngest at home can join a workshop in our Isla Miramar kid’s club, where they’ll make a candle holder they can use to be part of this blackout.

Celebrate Earth Hour at Miramar and say, loud and clear: Yo #ConectoConElPlaneta.

Earth Hour

Earth Hour is a campaign that started in Sidney, Australia, in 2007, as a token gesture of the fight against climate change. Ten years later, it has become the greatest environmental mobilisation campaign in history. It is the expression of thousands of people asking for a real commitment from all of us against climate change, the biggest environmental threat we have to fight.
